 Family Service Credential Training of Trainers  

5-DAY VIRTUAL TRAINING

2026 DATES: January 26, 28, 30, Feb. 3, 4

HOURS: 8:30 - 4:30 pm (Central time zone)

AUDIENCE: Interested persons, with appropriate skills and experience, who will implement the Family Service Credential within their local agency.

PREREQUISITES:

• Prior certification in the 9-day Family Service Credential Direct Service Provider Training
• In-depth direct service experience working with families
• Experience in training adults and knowledge of adult learning practices
• Commitment to participate in all 5-days of training
• NOTE: If you participated in the Training of Trainers PRIOR to 2015 it is highly recommended that you attend again as a refresher and to ensure you are using the most up-to-date materials.

• Experience the Family Service Credential content from the trainer facilitator’s perspective.
• Learn and apply training & facilitation skills.
• Learn how to integrate the knowledge of adult learning principles into the facilitation of the content.
• Learn how to implement the project and portfolio component of the Family Service Credential.
• Assess and reflect on personal facilitation capacities.
• Receive follow-up individualized coaching during back-home implementation.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Full Refund if canceled ON/BEFORE December 26, 2025.
• Participants who cancel AFTER the cancelation deadline, or for any reason do not attend, will be billed the full fee.
• Refunds of credit card payments will be subject to a fee of 3.5%.
• Substitutions are allowed within the same agency for the same training dates.
