PURPOSE: This 2-day Institute provides Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a wide variety of strategies to support various communication needs. Our speakers cover current topics for SLPs. Our unique setup allows direct interaction with multiple vendors, including therapy, educational materials & assistive technology strategies. The Institute also allows SLPs to reconnect with the extended community of school-based SLPs. In addition to our distinguished keynote speaker, this conference features vendor exhibits, one ethics session, and fabulous door prizes provided by our wonderful vendors.

• Single Occupancy $110 per night (or the current prevailing state per diem rate at the time of booking)

• Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.25%) in effect at the time of check-in, unless proper tax-exempt documentation is provided prior to check-in.

CANCELLATIONS: 

Registered participants will receive a refund less the credit card processing fee if they cancel at least 10 working days before the conference. Because of our commitments to the conference facility, presenters, vendors, and participants, no refund of any kind, for any reason, will be given for cancellation requests received after February 15, 2026. CESA 5 cannot make exceptions to this policy. Registrations are transferable within your organization.  Any lodging cancellations are the responsibility of the participant and are not subject to any refund by CESA 5. CESA 5 WILL NOT CANCEL THE CONFERENCE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

ASHA CMHs: 

• CESA 5 cannot determine if individual conference sessions meet the requirements for ASHA’s certificate of clinical competence requirements.  It is at the discretion of the member to determine if the content of a session meets ASHA’s requirements.
• We recommend that you refer to Professional Development Requirements for the 2020 Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Certification Standards for guidance.  Participants should keep a copy of the course description and certificate of attendance to verify certification maintenance hours (CMH), just as you do for any other topics when submitting your compliance form. 

 A Certificate of Attendance with seven hours each day will be furnished based on your attendance. Participants attending the Ethics Training will be provided with a certificate of completion (1 hour).
