Join us for The English Learner Network, where educators come together to collaborate and discuss strategies, tips, and topics that support English Learner students in all facets of education.

Potential Topics Covered:
ACT 20 information
Supporting Newcomers: Tailored resources and strategies for students new to the English language and American education system.
English Learner Curriculum: Curricular options designed to meet the unique needs of English learners, promoting language proficiency and academic achievement.
Individualized Learning Plans (ILPs): Personalized learning plans to address the specific strengths and areas of growth for each English learner.
Supporting English Language Acquisition: Explore core teaching strategies, AI programs, online resources, and applications that accelerate English language development.
Addressing Long-Term ELs (LTELs): Specialized approaches to support students who have been English learners for an extended period, ensuring continued progress.
Family Engagement: Engage families in the learning process, providing resources and strategies for parents to support their child's language development.
Special Education Considerations: Language Disorder vs Language Difference
Laws, Regulations, and Guidelines: Providing support according to federal/state requirements as well as best practices
WIDA Screener/ACCESS test certification
Reclassifying/Exiting English Learners
