Description

REP is a targeted Tier 2 intervention for students at risk for internalizing concerns, such as depression and anxiety. The broader REP intervention is intended for students in Grades 4-8. REP is built upon three major components:

  1. Cognitive-Behavioral Instruction: Students are taught key coping and problem-solving skills across five lessons in a small-group setting.
  2. Check In/Check Out: Students meet with their teachers and a mentor on a regular basis to receive feedback regarding their behavior. Students also have the opportunity to receive rewards contingent upon their appropriate behavior.
  3. Resilient Families: Parents/caregivers are provided important information and resources to support their child’s emotions and behavior in the home.
