Matthew and Mitchell Harris
Living with Autism: Our Road to Independence

Diagnosed with Autistic Disorder at age 3, Matthew and Mitchell LaBerge have worked extremely hard throughout their lives to achieve their short and long-term goals. They are now young adults living and enjoying life at age 26. They both have earned associate degrees and additional technical diplomas and certificates and have had employment experiences with organizations such as the Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Gamblers, Green Bay Rockers, Zac Brown’s Inclusive Camp Southern Ground in Georgia, St. Norbert College, the Howard-Suamico School District, and the Bonduel School District. They have also navigated adult relationships, with one resulting in a wedding last year! Their presentation incorporates stories of real-life experiences shared in an engaging and often humorous manner that captures the attention of the audience and offers insight into what has made a difference for them in their lives.
